W.D. Skinner & Son Insurance Agency, Inc. has been in business for over 85 years. W.D. Skinner founded the agency in 1935 and operated it from his home and farm on Sandy Ridge Road just outside of Barnesville, Ohio. In 1976, his son Tom took over the business and moved it to its current location at 777 East Main Street in Barnesville, OH. After Tom’s passing, his wife Patricia retained ownership and worked diligently to maintain the business. Her son, Shane Skinner, represents the third generation to operate the family owned business.
